SUCCESS FOR GIRLS IN
FOTBALL AND NETBALL AS WELL AS A DATE AT ANFIELD
Since Christmas,
the girls at CHS have been showing the boys how it’s done. In netball Year's 7, 8
and 10 became champions when they won the South Cheshire
Championships at South Cheshire College earlier this month.In football the under 14 girls won the Cheshire School games and will know compete in the nationals. The under 13’s won the Stoke Football Competition and will now represent Stoke City Football Club at Anfield (the home of Liverpool FC) on 9th May in the national finals of the Premier League Schools’ Tournament. They will be competing against schools' representing the other 19 Premier League Teams to see who will be crowned Premier League School Tournament champions 2013. The girls, PE staff and the school are very excited about this and everybody connected with the school are behind them and wish them good luck. There will be a full match report plus interviews following the games at Anfield.
